Constantin Berlin
Constantin Berlin grew up in Berlin and rural eastern Germany. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in American History, but his interest in the US is not solely academic.
While spending a significant amount of time in the US throughout his studies, Constantin was exposed to the types of everyday human encounters and stories not explored by transatlantic reporting or academia. These realizations catalyzed his drive to depict the stories of everyday Americans for his fellow Germans. He has previously worked as a student assistant at Leipzig University’s American Space project and as a project assistant for the German-American Institute Saxony (DAIS).
At DAIS, he developed, produced, and hosted several podcast formats and organized events to promote transatlantic exchange.
